    What is a lap timer?

A lap timer is a stopwatch that records each lap without stopping. It shows every split, the total time and your pace.

How to use the lap timer

    1. Set the lap distance, for example 400 metres on a running track.
    2. Press Start or Space to begin.
    3. Press Mark lap or the L key each time you finish a lap. The newest lap appears at the top.
    4. Press Reset or R to clear the session, or export your laps as a CSV file.

See the shape of your session

Use a distance that matches your training. A track athlete can set 400 m, a swimmer can set 50 m, and runners can set 1,000 m. The pace column turns each split into a comparable metric.

    Track intervals

Compare 200 m or 400 m repeats without losing the total session time.

    Swim sets

Track every pool length and review fast or slow sections after the set.
